Stampin’Up Festive Flurry Ornament Card!

Hi Stamping Friends,

I have a really fun card to share with you today.  I had a coffee & card class yesterday and we made this cute ornament but then we decided to turn it into a card with a removable ornament.

Here’s the instructions:

1. Stamp the largest snowflake and the second smallest snowflake with Cherry Cobbler ink and cut out with the matching Festive Flurry Framelits dies.

2. Stamp the second largest and smallest snowflake with Old Olive ink and cut out with the matching Festive Flurry Framelits dies.

3. Cut out snowflake shapes with the smallest Festive Flurry die and Silver Glimmer paper, Whisper White card stock and a window sheet. (The Whisper White snowflake is for the back of the ornament).

4. Assemble your ornament with a Stampin’ dimensional between each layer.  Add a Frosted Finishes Embellishment to the centre of the ornament.

5. Attach 16″ of 1/8″ Silver Ribbon to the ornament with Sticky Strip.  Cover the sticky strip with the Whisper White snowflake you cut out.

6. Fold 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Cherry Cobbler card stock in half to create a card base.

7. Place 4″ x 5-1/4″ Old Olive card stock in the Stylish Stripes embossing folder and run through the Big Shot Die cut machine.  Attach to the card base.

8. Attach the window sheet snowflake to the Old Olive layer with a glue dot.  Place a Glue dot on the back of the ornament and stick to the window sheet. Now you have a removable ornament. Yeah!!!

9. Stamp “Merry Christmas” from the More Merry Messages stamp set with Cherry Cobbler ink on Whisper White card stock. Create pennant shapes on each end with a Hexagon Punch.  Attach to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Happy Stamping,
