The theme this month is Thankfulness. I love this theme because I’m thankful for so many things. I’m thankful for my family, my stamping friends and amazing customers.
I chose to make a thankful fancy fold card using the Petals and Posies stamp set and coordinating Petals and Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper. This paper is so gorgeous you don’t need to add much to make a beautiful card.
Here’s the instructions for the fancy fold however I may need to do a video. If you want a video for this card please leave me a comment.
The paper size is 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″.
Line the edge up at 3/4″ and cut from 1-1/4″ down to 7-1/4″. Repeat on the other side.
Make the inside score lines by scoring at 1-1/4″, 2-1/2″,6″ and 7-1/4″.
Make the outside score lines at 4-1/4″ and 6-3/4″.
The tricky part is folding up the card.
Start with the inside lines. The first fold is a mountain fold, then valley fold, mountain fold and valley fold.
The 4-1/4″ outside line is a mountain and 6-3/4″ line is a valley.
