Perfect Pansy!

Isn’t this card great? The idea came from another blog but I can’t remember the name of the blog so I’ll apologize now and be happy to give credit to the author if they leave me a comment.

I think this technique is brilliant. It uses Shimmer White card stock and re-inkers.
Here’s the technique:
1. Punch 4 butterflies with the Butterfly Punch out of Shimmery White card stock. (If you don’t have any , buy it. It’s great!)
2. Place the butterflies in a container that is lined with paper towel. I use a plastic container that my wooden stamps came in.
3. Spray the butterflies with water so they are very wet.
4. Using an Aqua Painter, dip the end in Elegant Eggplant re-inker and touch the sides of the butterflies. Work quickly so it doesn’t dry out. The color will bleed a bit.
5. Using another Aqua Painter, dip the end in Summer Sun Re-inker and fill in the middle of the butterfly.
6. Dry with a heat tool.
7. Put two butterflies together and attach with a brad.
8. Draw lines in the center of the flower with a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker.
This so fun you’ll have to try it.
Happy Stamping,
Karina
