I’m sharing a card we made at My Butterflies & Flowers Decorative Mask card class. I wanted to show the beauty and ease of using the decorative masks with card stock, ink and blending brushes to create a variety of projects, The Butterflies & Flowers Decorative Masks come in a set of 6 for only $13.50. They are plastic and can be used many times. I used the Hello Beautiful stamp set for most of the sentiments on my projects.
To create the butterfly element on this card, stack the flower mask over the open butterfly mask and apply Night of Navy Ink using a Blending Brush on Balmy Blue card stock. Remove the mask and lightly apply more ink over the open butterfly mask. Remove the mask and cut out with scissors.
To create the textured background on the Night Navy card stock, add 2 drops of Night of Navy re-inker to embossing paste and apply with a palette knife over a mask.
