Hi Stamping Friends,
I had my card class today and this was one of the projects. It’s a wallet for Dad! It could be for Father’s Day or a birthday!
The girls asked for instructions so here they are. We are also making this project at Super Fun Stamp Night this Friday. Let me know if you want to come.
1. Cut three pieces of Soft Suede card stock:
– 6″ x 12″ scored at 4-1/4″ on the short end and scored at 6″ on the long end.
-3″ x 12″ scored at 6″
– 1″ x 3″ scored at 1-1/2″
2. Stamp the Soft Suede card stock with the Woodgrain stamp and Early Espresso ink.
3. Punch two half circles with the 1-1/4″ Circle Punch on the 3″ x12″ piece of card stock.
4. Fold up the bottom edge of the 6″ x12″ piece of card stock and punch two half circles.
5. Place the 3″ x12″ pice of card stock inside the 6″ x12″ card stock and fold up the edge. Sticky strip holds the wallet together. I added sticky strip to the outside edge of the inside panel and the 1-3/4″ x 12″ folded up piece of card stock.
6. Use the 1″ x 3″ piece of card stock as your closure. Put sticky strip on half of it and attach to the back of the wallet and put a velcro dot on the other side to keep the wallet closed.
7. Decorate the front of the wallet using Letter It stamp set and Metallic Brads.
I hope you like this project.
Happy Stamping,
Karina
