I’m sharing the bonus project from my Butterflies & Flowers Decorative Mask class. I wanted to show the beauty and ease of using the decorative masks with card stock, ink and blending brushes to create a beautiful framed art project. The Butterflies & Flowers Decorative Masks come in a set of 6 for only $13.50. They are plastic and can be used many times.
Night of Navy: 5” x 7”
Basic White: 4-1/4” x 5-3/4”, 3-1/2” x 4-1/2”
Balmy Blue: 1-1/2” x 3”
Instructions:
- Place the mask over the Basic White card stock. Secure with masking tape.
- Apply Night of Navy ink over the mask using a Blending Brush.
- Tip: Pick up the ink using the brush and lightly tap off excess ink on scrap paper before applying to your project.
- Attach to the Night of Navy card stock.
- Die cut Basic White card stock using the Scalloped Contours Die.
- Place the more open floral mask on the card stock and secure with masking tape. Tape off any other mask sections you are not using. Apply Petal Pink ink using a Blending Brush. Remove mask.

- Attach to the project base.
- Die cut Balmy Blue card stock with a Scalloped Contours die.
