1. Gather Your Supplies:
Before we begin, let’s make sure you have all the necessary supplies. Here’s what you’ll need:
– Stamps: Choose your favorite designs that complement your card theme.
– Paper: Opt for high-quality card stock in various colors to add depth and dimension to your cards. I love the Stampin’Up card stock. There are 50 colors to choose from.
– Ink: Select Stampin’Up ink pads in different colors to add vibrant and eye-catching details to your stamped images. I recommend only using three colors.
– Scissors: Have a pair of sharp scissors handy for trimming paper and fussy cutting stamped images.
– Adhesive: Use a good quality adhesive to secure your paper and stamped elements.
2. Plan Your Design:

Now it’s time to get stamping! Take your chosen stamp and press it onto the ink pad, making sure the entire surface of the stamp is coated evenly. Gently press the stamp onto your paper, applying even pressure. Lift the stamp straight up to avoid smudging. Repeat this process with different stamps and colors to create a visually appealing composition.
4. Add Embellishments:
To enhance your card, consider adding embellishments. Stampin’Up has a variety of embellishment and ribbon to add texture and interest. Be creative and experiment with different elements to achieve the desired effect. My favorite product is Rhinestone Basic Jewels. You can make them any color by using a Stampin’ Blend Alcohol marker.
