Hi Everyone,
I made this cute notepad using a pattern from Andrea Walford’s blog. Here’s her link http://andreawalford.com/
Orchid Opulence card stock (8-1/2″ x 6-1/2″) was scored along the 6-1/2″ side at 2-5/8′, 2-7/8″, 5 -1/2″ and 5-3/4″. Cottage Wall designer Series paper (2-1/2″x8-3/8″) was added to the front and inside of the note book. One side of the notebook was scalloped with the Scallop Edge Punch.
The note pad is from Staples. It was 5″x8″ and I cut it in half with my paper cutter and attached it to the notebook with sticky strip. The magnetic sheets are from a dollar store.
I decorated the front of the note book with Cottage Wall Designer Series paper. The butterflies were made with the Big Shot die cut machine and the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz die. Stampin’Up Backgrounds 1 texturz Plates was used to give dimension and polka dots to the butterflies. I highlighted the polka dots with a Signo White Gel Pen. A white half back pearl from the Pretties kit was attached to each butterfly with a mini glue dot.
The “Charming” stamp set from the Holiday mini was used to stamp a frame in Orchid Opulence ink on Orchid Opulence card stock and for the note book. Create was stamped with Whisper White craft ink and embossed with White Stampin’ emboss powder. The wide Oval punch was used to punch out the title. I added some highlights with the Signo White Gel pen again. This is such a great pen and adds so much to your projects. It’s only $5.50.
Happy Stamping,
Karina
