Shades Of Spring Designer Series Paper - by Stampin' Up!
I designed this gift card holder for a workshop I did last week. I love this design because it’s quick and easy to make and would look great with just Designer Series paper and some ribbon.
Start with a 4″ x 12″ piece of Certainly Celery card stock. Score it at 4″ and 8″ which will give you 3 sections 4″ x 4″ each. Do a diagonal score down the middle section of the gift card holder. Fold the middle section in half. This will become the pocket of the card. Secure it with sticky strip being careful to leave the pocket part open.
Decorate your card with Shades of Spring Designer Series paper cut at 3-3/4″ x 3- 3/4″. I cut two squares. The first square goes on the front of the gift card holder and the second square was cut in half and attached to the inside of the holder.
I stamped the flower image from With All My Heart stamp set. I inked up the stamp in Certainly Celery ink and rolled the edges in So Saffron ink. This is called a Rock & Roll technique. It’s simple, quick and looks great.
The flower image was punched out with the new Extra Large Fancy Flower punch. It was layered onto So Saffron card stock punched out with the same punch. I used a Rhinestone brad for the center and attached it to the gift card holder.
Chit Chat rub-ons were used for the greeting.

These are a great economical way to get lots of greetings without having to buy different stamp sets. They cost $14.95 for two sheets of rub-ons in White and Chocolate.
Whisper White satin ribbon was used to finish the gift card holder.
Happy Stamping,
Karina
